# Rank

Staked tokens place a wallet into a rank. Ranks provide multipliers rather than linear rewards per token. Thresholds can be reviewed over time. Rank does not move due to a threshold review unless the wallet’s own stake changes.

**Notes**

* Desert Dweller allows small or non-staking contributors to participate at baseline.
* Wayfarer is the first meaningful stake threshold.
* Higher ranks amplify rewards but cannot earn without Activity.
